Screenshot the roof in Google Maps satellite view (north up) and upload it. In the finished app the job address would open straight onto the map.
In Google Maps, right-click one end of a straight eave, pick Measure distance and click the other end. Tap the same two points here and enter that length.
Tap the corners of one roof face, close it, then tap its gutter edge. Corners snap to ones already placed so hips and valleys line up.

Sheets run straight down the slope, square to each face's gutter edge.
Measure each item with a tape and type the reading. Add a photo showing the tape so the office can check it. Measured numbers replace the map estimates.
Every gutter edge picked on the Roof tab is a gutter run. Lengths use the site-check measurement when there is one. Corners and stop ends are found from where the runs meet.

Tap on a gutter to place a downpipe. Tap a downpipe to remove it. Distances are from the start of the run (the first end in the Ends column). Runs with nothing placed show the guide count as dashed circles.
The starting count per run is plan roof area ÷ this figure. It's a rough guide only. Size and place downpipes to AS/NZS 3500.3 for the site's rainfall, then place them on the plan.
Tap any number on the drawing to change it. Amber numbers are guesses from a sketch and must be measured. Angles are inside angles.
Replacing an old flashing? Add a photo of it with a note. They go into the PDF for the supplier.
Add photos of what's being replaced. Each photo gets its own note box once added. Photos added on a flashing show with that flashing in the PDF.
The PDF includes everything above: materials, flashing drawings, photos and notes.
Check the order with View PDF first. Send PDF opens your phone's share menu with the PDF attached: choose email, WhatsApp or another app. Supplier email: . It's copied when you tap Send PDF, so you can paste it into To.
